A fantastic hospital system in Eastern Tennessee is looking for an Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead their 50 bed ED! The Nurse Manager Emergency will oversee an ED that sees mostly adult patient population, and is not a trauma designated ED. This ED does stabilize trauma and pediatric patients and transfer them to Trauma facilities and pediatric hospitals.
The ED Nurse Manager will have a Bachelor’s Degree, previous Emergency Room experience, and prior Nursing Management or Leadership experience. The Emergency Nurse Manager will report to the Director Emergency Services and will oversee approximately 65+ FTEs. This Emergency Department sees an average of about 50,000 patients per year, is very well known for their excellent care of stroke patients, and is collaborative with other departments in the hospital.

The RN Manager Emergency Department will collaborate with other hospital department Nurse Leaders to work on hospital performance improvement policy standards.
