The Emergency Department Nurse Director will join a 230+ Bed facility that is home to a Level II Trauma Center that is also well regarded for being a local teaching facility. With a newly developed Emergency Department only a few years old, the Emergency Department Nurse Director will be able to work in a unit that is prepared for the future. Year after year this facility is recognized as one of the best in the nation; a true testament to all of the employee’s hard work and dedication.
The Emergency Department Nurse Director will work collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Officer on improving patient care and better nursing practices. This individual will have 24-hour responsibility over the Emergency Department along with assistance from a Nurse Supervisor and a group of resident physicians. This is a busy Emergency Department that sees over 5000 admissions per year and continues to grow with a new renovated Emergency Department. An innovative leader who is Master’s prepared and who brings Level II Trauma experience would be the ideal fit for this Joint Commission accredited team.
