This 130+ bed short term acute care facility provides a variety of services, including 24-hour emergency care, medical and surgical services, pediatrics, obstetrics, skilled nursing, intensive care, as well as advanced diagnostic and imaging services. In addition, this facility houses a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a designated Trauma Center. As a part of a larger healthcare system, this hospital is also recognized for its excellence in stroke care over the past several years.
The Nursing Director of Emergency Services has the wonderful opportunity of overseeing this medium-sized emergency room while providing hands-on leadership to nursing and ancillary staff. The ED Nurse Director will provide his or her strong leadership knowledge and skills to ensure and oversee the safe and effective care of the emergency department staff, and will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Emergency Room Nurse Director will provide management to staff to guarantee quality care and compliance with emergency room policies and procedures.
