Ideally, the Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager has previous leadership experience, a clinical background working in a fast-paced emergency department, and an active RN license. Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager  includes overseeing department workflow, staff scheduling, ensuring state and federal regulatory compliance, and assisting with new-hire education. The Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager will manage a team of registered nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff, and report to the Unit Manager.
