Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Nursing Inpatient Services will be accountable for overseeing all nursing services of the 25-bed hospital. Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing Inpatient Services include overseeing department workflow, the nursing team composed of nurse managers, educators, registered nurses, and technicians, managing the fiscal budget, ensuring state and federal compliance, updating policy procedures, and cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Ideally, the Director of Nursing Inpatient Services will have prior clinical management experience with a background working in a medical surgical, telemetry, or acute care inpatient unit. Additionally, the Director of Nursing Inpatient Services will hold an RN license. This individual will be a go-getter, understand the importance of setting goals and meeting deadlines, and someone that is excited to lead, educate and mentor a team.
