The Director of Maternal Child Health will oversee two operating rooms, a Well-Baby Nursery, and 25 LD and Postpartum beds. All the facilities under the umbrella of the Mother-Baby Service Line are brand new and a NICU may soon be added. The Women’s Service's Nurse Manager will also oversee four Pediatric beds.
This position will give an experienced OB or Postpartum Nurse Manager the chance to take the next leadership step in their career. They will implement best practices on the unit and lead department-based Quality and Core Measure Initiatives.
The state-of the art hospital is near Washington DC. It boasts a full-service, 24/7 Emergency Department, Advanced Cardiac Services, Medical Surgical, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Labor-Delivery, and Pediatrics.
