The Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will be responsible for the overall management and leadership in the delivery of comprehensive, high quality services provided in Invasive Cardiology Services on the 2 hospital campuses including the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories.
The Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will ensure that safe patient care is provided. The Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will work with program development, service improvement and promotion, oversee the activities in the development of department staff. Reporting to the Vice President of Heart and Vascular Institute, the Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will assist with the budget preparation and monitoring.
The ideal Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will have previous management or supervisory experience with knowledge of cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathology and associated diagnostic techniques and medical interventions with new and inventive technologies. The Director of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Department will prepare annual budgets, develop spreadsheets, monitor and analyze financial information and implement operational changes to meet budget targets.
