The Clinical Director of Ambulatory Care will be part of a growing healthcare organization that is dedicated to providing the best care possible for residents of the surrounding communities.

The Director of Ambulatory Care Clinic will join a Medical Center that is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization providing quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management.

The Director of Primary Care Clinic will be responsible to partner with the Medical Director of Primary Care or Specialty Care to achieve outcomes of the strategic initiatives of the Foundation. Director of Outpatient Clinic Operations will be responsible for project management, service line delivery, change management related to practice redesign, and facilitating and leading value streams and rapid improvement events for assigned areas.

The Clinical Director of Medical Group will direct, supervise and coordinate all operations and physician activities that involves either direct or indirect responsibility for staffing, budgeting, fiscal planning, telecommunications, physician recruitment and relations, equipment purchases and maintenance, and facility development. This is carried out through daily interaction with physicians, managers, supervisors, and senior administrative personnel.

The ideal candidate for Director of Ambulatory Care Operations will have A Masters Degree in Health Care or Business Administration is required with Formal Lean training with completion of Black Belt certification within two years of date of hire. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic and operational planning, and developing, implementing and monitoring new and existing programs, processes, and practices.
