Diabetes Program Director

An exciting opportunity has now become available with a highly reputable short term acute care hospital in Southern California for a Diabetes Program Director.  

The Diabetes Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the Diabetes Education Program within the hospital. The Nurse Director will manage employees within the unit, facilitate training programs and act as a liaison between the Executive Director of Education and Training and nurse educators.

The Diabetes Program Nurse Director will report directly to the Executive Director of Education Services. They should be prepared to provide diabetic assessments and diagnose care plans as needed and accordingly.

This 100+ bed facility offers a range of services to the community it serves. Some of the specialty services include: surgical services, emergency/trauma services, therapy and rehabilitation, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging services, maternal child health services.
