The Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse Manager will join a distinguished heart program that consistently ranks among the top in the Nation, according to U.S News & World Report. During 2016-2017, the Cardiology and Heart Surgery Program at this esteemed hospital ranked among the Top 25 in the country, which then marked over 15 consecutive years placing among the Nation’s elite Top 50 Hospitals in the survey.
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager will encounter many types of procedures at this facility, including heart transplants, open heart surgeries, cabbages, valve repairs, abrasions, vents, and some drug infusion/therapies in the unit. The CSICU Nurse Manager will report to the Cardiovascular Critical Care Director and will be responsible for the effective administration of the 20-bed unit as well as supervising other nursing staff who handle a patient volume of 1-2 cases each.
