Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

A new opportunity is available for an Advanced Practice Provider at a community hospital in southern Arizona. The APP will be proud to work as this acute care hospital that has a patient-centered atmosphere and is staffed with invigorated employees and medical professionals. The Advanced Practice Provider will utilize their Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant education and work in a Hospitalist capacity.

The Hospitalist NP or Physician Assistant will work a 10-hour day shift and enjoy having seven (7) days on and seven (7) days off. The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner / PA will enjoy working with a fellow APP and a MD/DO Hospitalist. The cohesive team of medical providers support one another and maintain consistent open communication regarding the care of their patients. The APRN or Physician Assistant will round on with the inpatient clinical team, work in the admitting Provider position as appropriate, and Accept referral calls about all potential patients and arrange transport as needed. Additional responsibilities will be performed in accordance to the legal authority of the Advanced Practice Provider credentials specific to the state of Arizona. This hospital is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with knowledge of inpatient and intensive care medical services.

This acute care hospital offers the following medical services to provide complete care to their 1,300 annual patients: Primary Care, Surgery (General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, Podiatry and Specialty), Imaging (X-ray, CT Scan, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Bone Density, Nuclear Medicine, PET Scan), Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, Laboratory, Sleep, Oncology/Chemotherapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Occupational Therapy and Diabetes Education/Nutrition Counseling.
