Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse

There is a new Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse opening in a growing community medical center in the beautiful heart of New Mexico. This acute care hospital has 12 bed new expanded ICU specializing in critical cardiac care. 

The Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care to patients in the intensive care unit creating a safe environment. The Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family from admission to discharge. In the ICU, the Critical Care Nurse develops a solid foundation to actively monitor and treat acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions with a 1-3 Nurse patient ratio.

The ideal candidate for the Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse will be a detail orientated nurse with exceptional critical thinking skills and extensive knowledge and ability to recognize complications. The position requires a dedicated nurse who is patient focused and in consistently communicating and collaborating with colleagues and supervisors. The facility creates a synergistic multidisciplinary team who shares core values and beliefs.
