The Clinical Pharmacist Primary Care should be a strong communicator with an active California license with acute care experience. Completion of a PGY-1 or PGY-2 residency is a plus, but is by no means required.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Director and Pharmacy Operations Manager, the Clinical Pharmacist Primary Care will provide pharmaceutical care in a Primary Care setting. The Inpatient Pharmacy Specialist will regularly collaborate with clinical staff to answer questions and provide information regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and storage of pharmaceuticals. The Clinical Pharmacist Primary Caret will work fastidiously to safeguard order and work persistently to improve processes and adhere to researched best practices and procedures.
