With around 150-beds, this short term acute care medical center in the San Francisco Bay Area is actively searching for exceptional, experienced Nursing Director to lead its Surgical Services, Procedural, and Operating Room teams. This person will join an outstanding nursing program, and a hospital that’s become a staple in the community over its 50+ years. Centered around its most acute services is a full host of community health services including Primary Care, a great Family Birthing Center, Oncology Care, and a highly-rated Orthopedics program.
Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Offer (CNO) / Vice President of Patient Services, the Surgical Services Nursing Director will oversee an extremely busy Perioperative and Procedural Unit. Supporting the Director are a CNOR Operating Room Manager, a CPAN PACU Manager, and a Procedural Services Manager who leads inpatient and outpatient procedural services as well as Ambulatory / Day Surgery.
The Procedural and Surgical Services Director will take on an integral senior leadership role in this acute care medical center. This person will take clinical and administrative oversight of a 7-OR Perioperative Department that offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient procedures, from Orthopedics and Cardiac Surgery, to Minimally Invasive Robotics and Weight Loss Surgery.
