A well-known hospital system in Northern California is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to work at their flagship hospital in Sacramento.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work in the Intensive Care Unit at this 200+ bed non-profit medical center. The CNS will work with hospital nursing staff that treat high acuity patients at this designated Level II Trauma Center. Utilizing the latest in evidence-based practice, the Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will play a valuable role in continuing the high-quality patient care patients are accustomed to from this acute care hospital.

The scope of the Intensive Care CNS will include: Developing interdisciplinary plans of care for complex and high risk patients, assessing staff knowledge and identifying competency-based education needs of staff and members, designing and implementing education programs to ensure the quality of staff knowledge and skills, introducing new techniques/innovation based on advanced practice trends.
Living in Northern California will provide a very balanced life for the ICU Clinical Nurse Specialist. The greater Sacramento area is close to wine county, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. A short drive will allow the CNS to unwind in a variety of settings.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work a Monday through Friday schedule and enjoy no call responsibilities.
