This academic Level I Trauma Center is devoted to providing quality care of treatment services and offers access to sophisticated level of treatment services.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will be a part of Nursing Administration and will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and oversee day-to-day operations and patient care programs. Provide direct care to patients in one of a range of specialties, such as paediatrics, geriatrics, emergency care and oncology. CNS will also serve as consultant, assisting other medical professionals working to improve patient outcomes and influence all levels of care.
Through comprehensive collaboration, the Clinical Nurse specialist provide an advanced level of care, clinical expertise, leadership in nursing practice, and systems innovation in hospital, community, outpatient, and long-term care settings. Their responsibilities may also include diagnosis and treatment, health promotion, disease management, prevention, and risk reduction.
