Day-to-day they will oversee everyday operations,budgetary maintenance and coordination of unit staff scheduling. This Oncology Nurse Leader will ensure that quality care is provided to patients and that their team of Staff RNs, Nurse Educators, Nurse Supervisors, Assistant Nurse Managers, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Navigators and Charge RNs are supported. 

A Nurse Leader with an MSN or OCN will motivate the hospital to interview quickly but experienced RNs will also be considered. The RN Nurse Manager Oncology will work directly with the Director of Oncology Services, Nurse Directors and Oncologists.

This Nurse Leader will serve nursing staff through active empowerment and foster a culture of clinical excellence, avocation and the development of leadership skills.
