Reporting to the Director of Telemetry, the Clinical Nurse Manager of Telemetry has 24-hour responsibility for the management of nursing and technologist practice operations. As such, the Clinical Telemetry Manager will oversee the supply chain and budget, clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment and retention, education, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, and both internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.

The ideal Clinical Nurse Manager of Telemetry will have a strong management background and strong experience in Cardiac Telemetry. Other qualifications include:


  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or a health-related field (may be in progress)
  • BLS & ACLS
  • Three (3) years progressive clinical leadership
  • Three (3) years clinical experience in specialty area

The Clinical Nurse Manager works closely with department directors, physicians, and staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care. The Clinical Nurse Manager is the nursing leader of the units and has the ability to create and empower teams to implement department change to improve clinical, operational, and financial performance.
