The Electrophysiology Specialist Nurse Navigator will be a vital resource within the heart and vascular clinical team. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Educator will work within an award-winning cardiac care center that offers fully comprehensive cardiac and vascular care to each individual patient. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Educator will work in a multidisciplinary team of cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, echocardiographers, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, and many other individuals throughout the hospital. This heart and vascular department is accustomed to performing a number of procedures and testing including angioplasty, cardioversion, endarterectomy, laboratory and imaging testing, cardiac catheterization, dialysis access, stent placements, thrombectomy, embolectomy, stent placements, and varicose vein treatments.
The Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Specialist will be a true resource within the Cardiothoracic and Cardiac Surgery department and will work in tandem with the unit nursing leadership. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Educator will maintain a clinically professional environment while providing clinical instruction, analysis, research and reporting in regards to nursing policies and procedures within the unit. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Educator will also be responsible for evaluate the nursing quality within the unit and develop programs to ensure the continued success of the Cardiothoracic and Cardiac Surgery department.
