Directly reporting to the Nurse Director of Education, the Clinical Nurse Educator Women's & Children's must be a present leader within the department and be able to relay any pressing and important details. Working in collaboration with the Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery, OB, NICU, ATS, and Lactation departments, the Clinical Nurse Educator Women's & Children's must be able to work well with others in an efficient and effective manner. Serving as a mentor to the clinical staff nurses, the Clinical Nurse Educator Women's & Children's must be readily available to share their expertise and knowledge when needed. The Clinical Nurse Educator Women's & Children's must also be very well versed and skilled with Labor and Delivery as well as NICU. This well loved facility goes through about 3000 births per year and are best known for their level 3 NICU. The Women and Children staff varies from 200-250 employees so they are looking for an educator that can help educate and prioritize each staff member.

Tasked with the important duties of providing education and directing expert clinical care, the Clinical Nurse Educator Women's & Children's must be an organized leader. Ensuring the birthplace department’s clinical staff are administering medical treatment in a consistent and appropriate manner, the Clinical Nurse Educator Women's & Children's must be an engaged leader within the department and be readily available.
