Fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the State of Montana Department of Health, the Clinical Nurse Director of Women’s Services will play a significant role in developing educational initiatives to keep this hospital on top for years to come. The Nurse Director of Women's Services will be a welcome addition to this excellence. 

The Clinical Nurse Director of Women’s Services will report to the Chief Nursing Officer, while also being a leader to the development of clinical professionals. The Maternity Nurse director will also work closely with and oversee the Labor and Delivery Manager and Women's Service Manager. This acute care medical center wants the Women’s Director to enhance the quality of patient outcomes, by bridging the gap with strong clinical procedures, process improvement, program management, and nursing research/evidence-based practices. This leadership position will help intertwine these practices through cross-campus delivery.  

The Clinical Nurse Director of Women’s Services will report to the Chief Nursing Officer. This person will work closely with unit leadership to develop curriculum and engage a large staff in clinical nurses. Among this staff are OB-GYN’s, Labor and Delivery RN’s, CNM’s or Midwife’s, OB Specialists, Post-Partum Nurse Practitioner’s, NICU RNs, Clinical Nurse Specialist / Leaders, and other Women’s Service personnel.   

This leadership position will provide expertise for Clinical Professional Development in this Obstetrics department. The RN Director will use evidence-based practices, technical expertise, skill and competence, helping support the highest quality patient outcomes possible. The Clinical Nurse Director of Women’s Services will be a leader and mentor to the Obstetrics Nursing Staff, by giving the best in-service oversight, as well as providing career advice and personal growth opportunities. The Nurse Director will also help improve the Obstetrics Department by using innovative and progressive that result in higher quality patient outcomes.
