The Clinical Nurse Director Emergency Department will work in a busy Emergency Department that admitted almost 20,000 patients last year. The Nurse Manager Emergency Department will have 24 /7 responsibility of the unit and report to the Nurse Director Emergency Department. The Clinical Nurse Director of the ED will partner with the Nurse Director to establish and meet goals for the unit including staffing, quality metrics, reducing wait times, and increasing patient throughput. A nurse with previous leadership experience in the Emergency Department such as an Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency Department, or Nurse Educator Emergency Services, or Nurse Manager Emergency Services is desired for this position.
