Clinical Manager RN

A 100 bed hospital in Northwest Washington is looking for a Clinical Manager RN to join their team! This facility strongly holds themselves to quality patient care for each individual patient in a comfortable, modern, and wonderful setting. 

Reporting directly up to the Medical/Pediatric and Surgical Unit Director, the Clinical Manager RN will hold responsibilities of administrative assistance and supervision of the Medical, Pediatric, and Surgical Units in the facility. This will include recruiting new nurses to join the team of medical professionals, overseeing day-to-day implementation of policies and setting budgets for departments. Meeting with the Directors regularly to access departmental needs in the Surg, Med/Peds, and other units will be important in ensuring that things are operating smoothly. 

Responsibilities for the Clinical Manager RN may include:

  • Taking full responsibility of units in Directors absence
  • Take on-call responsibility for Medical/Pediatric and Surgical 
  • Staffing, hiring, and training new nurses 

Previous experience as managing these departments as an RN including 3+ years of Clinical experience is required for consideration of this opening. It is important that the Clinical Manager RN will be able to step right in and assist in all facility needs efficiently, and effectively. This RN Manager will be working directly with staff on the floor as well as assisting in patient rooms to be sure that patients are receiving appropriate care daily.
