The Clinical Family Nurse Practitioner will join strong and reputable hospital and their primary care facilities dedicated to the highest quality patient care. Recently updated, this hospital provides a modern facility for this community Emergency, Labor & Delivery, Women’s Services, Surgery, Extended Care, and Ancillary Service’s needs, as well as a strong network of clinics. The Nurse Practitioner will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and the newest technologies, helping provide the highest quality of care.
Working under the general direction of the Medical Director and collaboratively working with the physician and other medical professionals, the Clinical Family Nurse Practitioner will help promote teamwork and cooperative effort among employees. The NP will also be supported by a resourceful team of nurses who take pride in the work they do within.
The Clinical Family Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical services care to patients, by diagnosing, establishing and implementing the plan of care. The ARNP will ensure the highest quality of care is provided by obtaining a documented history on all patients, performing physical examinations and administering the appropriate medication. The NP will be expected to step in to emergency situations by responding to conditions, such as: hypoglycemia, hemorrhage, respiratory distress, etc. The NP will also act as an educator and counselor to all patients and patients’ guardians, helping them understand the patient’s treatments and conditions.
The Clinical Family Nurse Practitioner will have strong experience of 3 or more years working as a licensed NP. They will have either have their APRN, PNP, FNP or be a registered nurse in the State of Washington and be recognized by the Washington Board of Nursing as being a certified Nurse Practitioner. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is also a huge plus but not required.
