Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Education RN Director will oversee the Organizational Development department and lead a team of Nurse Educators and other ancillary staff. Responsibilities of the Clinical Education RN Director will include developing curriculum, courses, and other educational material for new hires and current staff, implementing quality performance initiatives, and assisting with clinical education as needed. The Clinical Education RN Director will also be accountable for managing the department budget, ensuring state and regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, department staffing, and preparing all accreditation and survey material.
Ideally, the Clinical Education RN Director will have previous management experience with a clinical background working as a Nurse Educator at an acute care facility. The Clinical Director RN Director must be master’s prepared with their New Mexico or compact registered nurse license (within 90 days of hiring).
