A 400+ bed non-profit hospital in East Texas is currently seeking a NICU Nurse Director.
The incumbent RN Director - NICU holds 24 hour responsibility for the assigned unit including oversight of hiring, unit preparedness and budgetary needs. The Neonatal ICU Director manages the nursing services and staff; ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards. As the NICU Director you will work inter-departmentally to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Effectiveness of unit based operational efficiency is framed in Performance Improvement standards utilizing tools to assess, measure, and change process, enhancing data driven quality improvement activities. Is responsible for Human Resource activities in the assigned unit(s): Hiring, retention, coaching, counseling, and planning for staff effectiveness. Responsible for operational budget including development and monitoring for financial effectiveness.
