Clinical Cardiovascular Perfusionist

A newly created position for a Clinical Cardiovascular Perfusionist is now available at a short-term acute care hospital and designated Trauma Center in sunny Northern California!

Reporting to the Cardiac Perfusion Manager, the Clinical Cardiovascular Perfusionist will safely operating extracorporal equipment and provide supportive patient care to a variety of diverse patient populations. The Cardiac Perfusionist ECMO Coordinator will perform various duties including cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-aortic balloon pump counter pulsation, stand-by support, ventricular assist, and auto transfusion.

The Clinical Cardiovascular Perfusionist must possess current certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and be eligible to perform Perfusionist standardized procedures.
