The Chief Operating Officer would be the designated hospital leader responsible for providing direction for ensuring high-quality, customer focused, cost-effective services are upheld. In this role, the Chief Operating Officer will collaborate effectively with members of the board and administration to implement strategic plans that align with the hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare.
The Chief Operating Officer COO will mentor and support hospital administrators, board of directors, medical staff, and other hospital personnel. The COO will be expected to manage department budgets, identifying new business lines, increase revenue, and pursue innovative possibilities to enhance patient focus and community needs. The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer CEO. On top of providing top-notch leadership to staff, the Chief Operating Officer will participate in forecasting trends, communicating ideas, and initiating procedures in order to ensure that hospital’s mission is maintained.
