The Chief Nursing Officer CNO will be well-supported by several experienced Clinical Nurse Directors and a dedicated team of Registered Nurses and clinical staff. The Chief Nursing Officer will collaborate regularly with the CEO on physician recruitment and retention. The Chief Nursing Officer CNO will be an active member of the Medical Executive Committee and Governing Board as well as County Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness teams.

The Chief Nursing Officer CNO is responsible for strategic oversight and operational performances for patient care and services while providing leadership, guidance, and direction to all nursing staff. The Chief Nursing Officer CNO will develop, assess, plan, implement and evaluate clinically effective and efficient systems of care and standards. This includes performance improvement, operations, safety, quality reviews, and oversight of compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
