An established acute-care community hospital that has been taking care of the community for over 100 years is looking for a experienced Charge Nurse ICU to join their hardworking team.
The Charge Nurse ICU will join a 50 bed hospital in the critical care specialty department. They will be responsible for scheduling, leading and overseeing that day to day operations of the specific unit. This modernized facility is best know for its emergency, surgical services and OB Department. Additionally, they have a 24-hour emergency department and diagnostic services including radiology, MRI, CT-scanning, ultrasound, mammography, laboratory testing, EKG, stress testing, Holter monitoring, echocardiograms, vascular imaging with Doppler studies, bronchoscopy, systoscopy, laparoscopy, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and endoscopy. The Charge Nurse ICU will moniter and daily patient care within the critical care department and provide guidance for all department staff. They will be training and evaluating all new hire nursing staff a well as help with continual education and training. Advanced critical care experience is a must as well as proof of leadership experience.
