The Certified Laboratory Manager will meet these minimum/required qualifications for consideration for this highly selective laboratory. The Microbiology Lab Manager will be California State licensed and have experience working with wet lab diagnostics in BSL-2 environment, with common molecular techniques.
The Certified Laboratory Manager will report and assist the Laboratory Microbiology Director by implementing a quality management system. In doing so, the Certified Microbiology Lab Manager will provide a safe and accelerated lab for training. Furthermore, the Lab Manager of Microbiology will be knowledgeable of FDA, State and Federal guidelines.
Certified Laboratory Manager will utilize their strong communication skills to help lead their team. Throughout the day-to-day operations, the Certified Microbiology Lab Manager will oversee a strong CLS team and will help them adhere to the best practices and procedures in order to provide the safest environment for their team. Furthermore, they will help and train new staff to ensure that every day is safer than the next.
