The Magnet journey Medical Center is still expanding and financially stable. They are actively looking to add a Certified EPIC Cadence Application Analyst professional to their Clinical Informatics team with experience in acute care hospital setting.
The Certified EPIC Cadence System Analyst will work in a growing medical center that has served communities in the area for more than 50 years. The Certified EPIC Cadence Application Analyst will join a team that strives to provide superlative care by focusing on patients’ needs by incorporating the latest, proven medical technology and attracting the best medical staff and affiliated physicians.
The Certified EPIC Cadence System Analyst will be responsible for the build and install of a new EHR system for the hospital. After the build and installation, the Certified EPIC Cadence Application Analyst will also be responsible for supporting basic application functions, performing system configuration tasks, resolving problems, and meeting all customer expectations for clinical and/or business applications maintained by the Health Information Technology (HIT) department as well as upgrading and patching clinical and/or business applications.
The Certified EPIC Cadence System Analyst will serve as the liaison between the end users, technology teams, and support teams. The Certified EPIC Cadence Application Analyst will utilize application expert knowledge and tools to optimize application(s), develop strategies for change management and system performance improvement.
The Certified EPIC Cadence System Analyst will collaborate with users and vendors in resolving system problems, participates in planning, building, evaluating, testing, implementing, and documenting new processes, modules, screens, and interfaces for business systems, and guides application users in identifying functional requirements and implementing effective information support systems.
The Certified EPIC Cadence Application Analyst will guide system users in evaluating their processes in order to define, simplify, and automate the activities comprising each process. The Certified EPIC Cadence System Analyst will recommend automated solutions and leads small projects. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The ideal Certified EPIC Cadence Application Analyst should have knowledge of clinical or business workflow with basic SQL querying and report writing tools (e.g. Crystal Reports, SSRS) knowledge.
