The Care Coordination Nurse Manager will work with a well-tenured team of hospital case management professionals that are proud of the high quality patient care their clinical teams provide. The Nurse Manager will report to the Nurse Director of Case Management. Also, as a regional healthcare organization, the Case Management Nurse Manager will have the support of other case management professionals at other area hospitals. The Care Coordination team truly has exposure to tremendous patient resources and this organization has a positive reputation throughout the region. The Case Management department reports up to the hospital CFO with a dotted line to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Maintaining a balance between optimal case utilization and quality care will be part fo the Case Management Managers daily work. However, this hospital truly view patients as people, and treat them like their own family.
The Case Management Manager will work collaboratively with fellow hospital nurse managers and directors. Having a thorough understanding of the patient continuum of care will help the RN case management manager provide guidance to newer case managers on this team.
