Cardiac Step Down Nurse Manager

The RN Manager Tele Step Down will work for one of the most highly regarded hospitals in Central California. A trusted facility within the community, this medical center prides itself on delivering quality patient care to every single patient that walks through their doors.

Reporting to the Director of Acute Care Services, the Cardiac Step Down Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the direction and operations of the unit. The Cardiac Step Down Nurse Manager will lead a team of dedicated, hard-working healthcare professionals comprised of Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, Staff Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and other allied healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. The Nurse Manager will work on creating goals and objectives which can be achieved throughout the year.

The RN Manager Tele Step Down will be an expert in advanced practice knowledge and be able to successfully lead the unit through state surveys and inspections. The Manager Cardiac Step Down will be in charge of scheduling and staffing, which includes the hiring of any additional staff members. Working with the Clinical Nurse Educator of the unit, the RN Manager Tele Step Down is responsible for creating a work environment focused on education and collaboration.
