Seattle's premiere health care organization is looking for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse.
The CVOR Nurse will work at the regions flagship Medical Center and will play a vital role in the OR during advanced life saving surgical interventions. The Cardiac Surgery RN will coordinate actives with the clinical team and delegate responsibilities as needed. The CVOR Nurse will connect with patient families when appropriate and provide education and support related to surgical care.
The advanced Heart Center provides clinical services in coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, neurovascular disease, arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy and congenital heart disease
Experience with any or all of the following will help the Cardiovascular OR Nurse make a smooth transition into this role:
- Aortic Surgery
- Artificial Hearts / Implantable Cardiac Devices
- Atrial Fibrillation Surgery
- Cardiac Bypass Surgery
- Congenital Heart Surgery for Adults
- Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Surgery
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Valve Surgery
The CVOR nurse will work with respected Cardiologist that have won numerous awards for their surgical advancements in the field. Moreover, the advanced team of Cardiac Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Cardiac Rehab professionals and allied health professionals work cohesively at this hospital to ensure high quality patient outcomes. The Cardiothoracic Surgical team works throughout five (5) operating rooms and have Hybrid OR capabilities allowing interventionalists and heart surgeons to work side by side.
