With the support of the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Supervisor, the Clinical Oncology Pharmacist will function as a drug specialist and therapy consultant. The Oncology Pharmacist will ideally be adept at prescribing and dispensing oncology-related treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Additionally, with an expert knowledge of cancer medications, the Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist will ensure safety in compounding, preparing, and dispensing chemotherapy. The ideal Oncology Pharmacist will have completed PYG1 and PYG2 residency with an accredited organization and received a PharmD.
