The Behavioral Health Nurse Director will be responsible for management of the inpatient behavioral health unit, overseeing all operations, staff, and coordination of the unit. The Nurse Director of Behavioral Health Services will provide their strong hands-on leadership to advise on individualized inpatient treatment plans, as well as evaluate and assess for optimal patient care outcomes. The Behavioral Health Director will collaborate with and report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, ensuring all inpatient psychiatric policies and procedures are followed according to state and DNV regulations. The Behavioral Health Nurse Director will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting all quality assurance and improvement data with relation to psychiatric quality control measures. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a MSN degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health, along with 3-5 years of behavioral health-related clinical experience.
This 150+ bed, DNV-accredited Level IV Trauma Center is located in the Southeast Texas area; it is designated as a Primary Stroke Center and accredited Chest Pain Center, and is complete with all private patient rooms.
