The Chief Nurse Executive CNE will be joining a freestanding Behavioral Health Hospital with 100 plus inpatient beds just south of Seattle proper. The Psych Chief Nursing Officer CNO will be part of a hospital that will provide voluntary and involuntary admissions with a focus on general adult psychiatric care, crisis stabilization unit and outpatient services.

The Chief Nursing Officer CNO will assist the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer in carrying out organizational mission, vision, goals and objectives.  Working through peers, Directors and Managers, the Chief Nursing Executive CNE will be responsible for the overall administrative and clinical functions for the Behavioral Health Hospital.

The Chief Nursing Executive CNE of Behavioral Services will oversee the provision of clinically competent, cost-effective, high quality patient care and of excellent customer service across the patient care continuum.  The Chief Nursing Officer CNO will foster collaborative relationships and teamwork within Patient Care Services department and other disciplines throughout the mental health hospital.

The ideal candidate for Chief Nursing Officer CNO of Psychiatric Hospital should have BSN degree with Masters preferred with WA State RN license and a minimum of 5 years of progressive management/administrative experience in a psychiatric or mental health clinical environment is required, as well as clinical experience in Behavioral Unit Service Line.  Accreditation, Survey Readiness, Licensure and Quality Measures experience are a must!
