A Seattle Metropolitan Area Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant to join their Bariatric Surgery Team. The minimally invasive surgery Physician assistant will be the first assist with all Bariatric Procedures.
The Surgical Physician Assistant will be responsible for assisting surgeons in the diagnosis, scheduling, treatment, and follow up of bariatric surgery patients in the outpatient setting.
The Bariatric Surgery Physician Assistant will report to the Chief Surgeon Bariatric Surgery and will be part of a team looking to grow the medical centers minimally invasive surgery – bariatric surgery program. The Surgical Physician Assistant acts as the first assist in surgery and participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement & performance improvement activities.
The Physician Assistant is expected to maintain a high quality of patient care, and is an active member of the Medical Center’s ongoing quality improvement programs. The Medical Center fosters a collaborative environment, and the PA is an integral part of enhancing professional practice and patient education and satisfaction.
