The Family Birthing Center at this hospital boasts 10 Labor and Delivery Rooms, 4 Postpartum suites, and 9 private Pediatrics rooms.
Reporting to the RNC-OB Nurse Manager and Director of Women’s and Children’s Services, you’ll lead a clinical team made up Obstetric RNs that specialize in Antepartum, postnatal, and Women’s care. Working in collaboration with Registered Nurse Antepartum Labor Nurses, Midwives, RNC-NIC Perinatal Nurses, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, you’ll be among the area’s most outstanding Women’s and Children’s service team.
The Assistant Manager of Women’s Services will fulfill a key role within this unit, serving in a varied role where you’ll never be bored. You’ll get to take administrative oversight of scheduling, planning, and executing unit-based coordination for human resources processes, as well as directly assisting with adherence to regulatory compliance standards. Clinically, the Assistant Nursing Manager will serve as an advocate for compassionate patient care, educating the Obstetrics Nurses reporting to you on cutting edge evidence-based practices. In these duties, you’ll be leading this outstanding unit in fulfilling the medical center’s goals of superior patient experience.
