The Assistant Nurse Manager of Psych Behavioral Health will join a hospital that is a leader in the health care industry and an excellent place to work. Reporting to the Director of Mental Health Services, the Assistant Nursing Manager of Behavioral Health Unit will manage the 24-hour operation of Mental Behavioral Health Unit in an efficient and cost effective manner. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Psych Behavioral Health will assure the provision of quality patient care through compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, and efficient management of clinical and financial resources.

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Mental Health Services will apply management and clinical expertise, education, research, and consultation to optimize operational outcomes. The Assistant RN Manager of Behavioral Services will represent the Mental Health Unit in forums, fostering a collaborative approach and focusing on effective, effective service to patients and community. The Assistant Clinical Manager of Behavioral Health Unit will assume accountability for implementation of Baldrige quality process initiatives.

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Mental Health Unit will have strong working knowledge of Title 22, JCAHO, federal and state regulations, and related accreditation standards. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Psych Health will demonstrate proactive attitude and creativity in problem solving with strong leadership and team-building skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff. Demonstrates dedication to quality service. Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
