Reporting to the Director of Women’s Services, the Assistant Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery will have oversight of a top-notch nursing staff and the support of nearly 50 FTEs that run 18 Labor & Delivery Rooms, 35 Postpartum Suites, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Providing the highest level of prenatal care, an experienced team of experts, along with a highly-trained support staff, specialize in High Risk and Complex Pregnancies.
The Assistant Manager of Labor and Delivery is accountable for the efficient delivery of patient care and high quality nursing practices in compliance with administrative, legal and regulatory requirements of governmental and regulatory agencies. As the Nurse Supervisor of Labor and Delivery, you will be in charge of Assisting the Manager in hiring and training staff, and maintaining those quality standards. The Assistant Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations inside the L&D unit.
Providing a broad range of advanced medical services and constantly striving to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, this 300+ bed acute care medical facility’s offerings include Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Diagnostic Imaging services as well as a Level II Trauma Center.
