Reporting to the Emergency Room Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager ER Emergency Department will be supported by several ER Charge Nurses and oversee 75 FTEs including Emergency Room RNs and support staff.
The Assistant Nurse Manager ER Emergency Department will collaborate with the ER Clinical Nurse Specialist, Medical Director, Physicians, and clinical staff to manage, assess, and enhance patient care. The Assistant Nurse Manager ER Emergency Department will provide guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, budgeting and quality improvement. The Assistant Nurse Manager ER Emergency Department will bring their clinical expertise to several long-term projects including throughput and time to admission, patient safety, staff engagement, and patient/staff satisfaction.
