A not-for-profit hospital academic Medical Center located just in New Jersey is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Cath Lab.

The Assistant Director of Cath Lab will work within the Division of Cardiac and Vascular Services, joining a nationally recognized team of heart care professionals to provide patients with excellent care in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease. The Cardiac Program here is excellent, consistently achieving outcomes in the top 10 percent in the nation for Coronary Interventional Procedures, among other achievements.
Reporting to a Director of Cardiology Services, the Assistant Director of Cath Lab will have the opportunity to be a key leader within the service line. The Assistant Director will be responsible for the daily operational and clinical oversight of all invasive and interventional cardiac areas, including cath lab, EP lab and Hybrid OR. The Cath Lab is busy, performing around 3000 cases per year, with steady growth expected.
This position will have a wide range of responsibility, including human resource management, budgetary development and oversight, quality control, compliance and planning for strategic growth. This hospital is patient-centered so the candidate with a background in increasing or maintaining high patient satisfaction will definitely do well in this position. This position would consider both a nurse or a Rad Tech with a master’s degree.
