This reputable Ambulatory Services Organization is actively interviewing for an Executive Operations Officer to oversee Hospital strategy and ASC Operations in its Arizona Territory. Reporting to the Market Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Operations Officer will play a complex role in the Regional operations and strategic direction of two Acute Care Hospitals and a complex ASC and Ambulatory Care Network. Overseeing the organization’s Regional business office, the Executive Operations Officer will play a central role in leading Operations across 8 Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Centers and serve as a strategic advisor and partner at two inpatient medical centers totaling around 400-beds. The Ambulatory Surgery Centers offer a full range range of procedures from ENT, Plastics, and Colonoscopies, to Total Joint and Highly-Complex Robotic Assisted procedures.
The Executive ASC and Hospital Operations Officer will take Regional responsibility for a wide array of general business processes and higher-level strategic initiatives alike. Among the more general activities are overseeing the negotiation of vendor supply agreements and leading performance improvement coaching initiatives with Local Administrators. The Executive Administrator will also serve as the Arizona Market’s representative to the Board of Directors and in Partnership meetings, working with a huge network of external stakeholders to keep the business successful.
This person will have P&L accountability for a large market, made up of over a dozen healthcare facilities, so strong Senior Leadership experience in Ambulatory Surgery operations will be very important. A challenge and goal of any ASC organization is case volume growth and EBITDA growth. The Executive Operations Officer will drive these metrics by steering physician recruitment and service line development, retention and deployment of existing physician resources, and managing physician equity.
