A Magnet designated acute care health system located in Northern Illinois is currently searching for an experienced ARRT Cath Lab Technologist to join their fully-accredited healthcare team.

The Cath Lab Technologist will join an advanced cardiovascular service line that is known are one of the region’s leading heart hospitals. The Cath Lab Technologist will work within a department that’s home to numerous digital cardiac catheterization labs that utilize the latest technologies. The cardiac catheterization lab offers a variety of treatments including angioplasties, stents, carotid stenting, and endografts. This facility also offers a state-of-the-art Electrophysiology Lab that allows doctors to diagnose multiples causes of abnormal heart function and identify the best method of treatment.
The Cath Lab Technologist will work alongside esteemed cardiologists and will assist with a variety of invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The Cath Lab Technologist will aid the physician while scrubbed in for procedures, will be able to run imaging equipment, and perform quality assurance and quality control initiatives. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, current license from the State Emergency Management Agency of Nuclear Safety, and hold current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
