A beautiful new ambulatory surgery center near Stockton, CA is seeking a RN Clinical Director to lead their dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The RN Clinical Director will work in tandem with the Operations Director and lead a tight knit and family centered team of eight employees. This ambulatory surgery center performs outpatient catheterization procedures, endovascular cases, peripheral vascular procedures, wound care, podiatry related orthopedics and other related surgical cases.
The senior leadership is well recognized across the country for being subject matter experts when it comes to operating ambulatory surgery centers and office based labs. This unique business model, OBL & ASC in the same building, has proven time and time again to be successful and appropriate to maintain physician satisfaction and to keep patients needs met in one convenient location. The RN Clinical Director will maintain the centers accreditation standards with Centers for Medicaid Services (CMS), oversee infection prevention measures, mentor nursing staff, ensure staff competencies are met and there is a basic understanding of the surgeons unique needs for their cases and be the face of the facility and liaison for physicians. The physician relations and business operations are primarily assigned to the Operations Director; however, this team works together when needed.
The RN Clinical Director will have a background in operating room nursing, cath lab nursing, or surgery center leadership. The regional VP and CEO are excited to bring together experienced clinicians wanting to work in a family centered environment. The RN Clinical Director will join this team during an exciting period of growth--this ASC is the first of many that will be opening in the coming years. The RN Clinical Director may have opportunities for regional promotion and will be supported with continuing education.
