A Washington-DC area hospital is seeking a Supervisor for Advance Practitioner Clinicians in its rapidly expanding Multi-Organ Transplant program.
The hospital will consider experienced Transplant Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants.

The hospitals’ Transplant Institute is a Center of Excellence and offers evaluation and treatment of advanced liver disease, intestinal disorders, chronic kidney disease and complications of diabetes. The hospital specializes in innovative treatments and provide patients with access to groundbreaking research and clinical trials.
The Advanced Practice Transplant Clinician Supervisor will lead the hospital’s expanding acute care inpatient service.
- Management oversight to a group of Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistant (PA) staff (APCs) that provide 24/7 clinical management of pre-operative and post-operative inpatient.
- Acts as the primary resource for NP's/PA's daily functions.
- Functions to coordinate and formalize a multi-disciplinary structure and process that assures accountability for specific patient care outcomes.
- Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team, utilizing clinical outcome data to support innovative and cost-effective changes to practice and to the health care system.
The hospital prefers a candidate with four years of nursing experience inclusive of at least one year of directly-related experience in transplant. An APRN candidate with supervisory experience will motivate the hospital to move quickly. The hospital will offer a competitive salary as well as relocation.
