Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services

An established non-profit healthcare system located in Northern Louisiana is currently searching for an experienced Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services to join their accredited healthcare team.

This longstanding acute-care hospital opened its doors over 100 years ago and has since grown into an established 200-bed medical institution. The Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services will become a vital member of an advanced clinical team that is made up of over 600 physicians, 2,000 employees, and over 250 annual volunteers. This award-winning hospital is known to offer a number of specialty service lines including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neurology and neurosurgery, primary care, surgical services, and women’s health and pediatric services.

The Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services will join a cardiac service line that provides care for all types of heart and vascular conditions while utilizing the latest technologies and surgical treatments possible. This cardiovascular service line provides care for preventative and diagnostic, emergency and critical, and restorative and rehabilitative care. The Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services will be responsible for leading all units of the cardiovascular service line to include the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Cardiovascular Surgery CVOR, Cardiac Rehab, Cardiac Cath Lab, and the Structural Heart Program.

The Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services will be responsible for leading an advanced team of roughly 100+ FTE’s within the department. The Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services will report directly to the Vice President of Patient Care Services and the Chief Nursing Officer. The Administrative Nursing Director of Heart and Vascular Services will oversee all administrative and clinical operations within the designated service line in regards to quality, performance improvement, and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate for this role will have prior nursing experience at the director level and will have a full understanding of current compliance policies and procedures.
