The Acute Care Nurse Manager will work in a small facility that provides care to a gorgeous area of Oregon. The Nurse Manager of Inpatient Care will act as the backbone of Nursing leadership to the region within the Acute Care setting.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager of Acute Care will be supported by a highly educated staff of RN’s, Technicians, and Physicians to ensure day to day operations are executed with ease. The Nurse Manager of Acute care will utilize cutting edge medical practice instilled within the facility to execute daily tasks.
The Nurse Manager of Inpatient Care will coordinate the execution of high quality medical aid, monitor Acute Nursing staff performance, promote staff competency and ultimately patient satisfaction. The Nurse Manager of Inpatient Care will have direct supervision of acute staff, promotion of quality improvement and patient safety programs, nursing, and patient education activities and competency checks. The Acute Care Nurse Manager may additionally provide evaluations for Acute staff, writing and updating policies and procedures, coordinate staffing, and schedule Acute Care nursing staff.
